Dungeons
Dungeons are left over testing facilities from the old days of rampant dangerous magic practice and testing, leaving behind beasts unseen elsewhere.
They can generate underground as maze-like structures of rooms or as tall towers with rooms branching out from a center column. A dungeon will generate with 3 bosses chosen from the pool of bosses listed below. Each boss is of a certain tier, which determines their drops. The boss tier depends on the layer it generates.
- Tier 1 bosses can drop scepters*, charges, soulstones, and sometimes a few diamonds.
- Tier 2 bosses can drop scepters*, charges, soulstones, or at least 10 diamonds.
- Tier 3 bosses can drop soulstones, equipment parts, scepters*, and always at least 50 diamonds.
*Scepters are currently 1.12 only and are planned to be removed in the future, replaced by equipment parts.
