> Lycanites Mobs is a Minecraft ([[https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks|Forge]]) mod that adds over 115 [[creatures|new mobs]] to specific biomes, dimensions, and more. These mobs range from peaceful [[creatures:maka|Maka]]: farmable mammal-like reptiles with massive sails (watch out for the [[creaturegroups:alpha|alphas]]) to horrific [[creatures:grue|Grues]] that are made of the very [[element:shadow|shadows]] themselves! Expect to see angry [[creaturetypes:elemental|Elementals]] such as [[creatures:cinder|Cinders]] spawning from large fires or [[creatures:spriggan|Spriggans]]  from tall grass and crops, as well as a horde of savage [[creaturetypes:demon|Demons]] roaming the nether set to bring about your doom!

  * Over 100+ new [[creatures|creatures]] with custom AI and advanced .obj models rather than vanilla style cuboids.
  * A [[beastiary|Beastiary]] for learning about these creatures and managing pets, mounts, and minion summoning.
  * [[items:soulstone|Soulbinding]] allows for tamed pets and mounts to become linked to the player. They can respawn on death and be stored in the Beastiary and summoned on demand.
  * [[summoning|Minion Summoning]] where [[summoning#Summoning Staves|Summoning Staves]] can be used to summon temporary minions or the [[summoning#Summoning Pedestal|Summoning Pedestal]] can be built to spawn a wave of minions to defend your territory constantly.
  * Advanced [[beastiary#tameable_mobs_pets|Pets]] and [[beastiary#mountable_mobs_mounts|Mounts]]: Pets have advanced behavior controls and grant their owner protection against certain effects when close. Mounts offer unique mount abilities (use the Mount Ability button, ''X'' by default). To dismount press the Dismount Button (''C'' by default) as sneaking (''shift'') is used to fly or swim down on a mount now instead.
  * An [[equipment|Equipment System]] where custom weapons and tools can be crafted using an Equipment Forge from random Equipment Parts dropped by creatures.
  * [[dungeons|Large Dungeons]] that randomly generate with custom blocks and plenty of rewards as well as mini-bosses, fully customizable.
  * Optional [[events|Events system]] (disabled by default), which will occasionally bombard players with a swarm of deadly creatures. These are fully customizable and must be enabled via the config or via the ''/lm mobevents enable'' command.
  * 100% customizable JSON configs for almost everything in the mod; each mob, spawner, equipment part, etc., can be changed entirely.
