This creature can be summoned as a temporary minion by using a [[items:soulgazer|Soulgazer]] to add it to your [[:beastiary|Beastiary]] and then using a [[items:summoningstaff|Summoning Staff]] or using a [[equipment:jewel#spriggan_heart|Spriggan Heart]]  or [[:summoning|Summoning Pedestal]] to summon it.

===== Trivia & Media =====
  * This monster capacity might be a reference to the brain slime from Primitive mobs. Although Lycanites did not confirm this.
  * If combined with the "[[https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/first-aid|First Aid]]" mod, Darklings will always deal damages to the head, killing you fairly quickly.
