Maugs have a powerful maul that will cripple causing slowness.

These beasts can be found in cold areas like snowy mountains or taigas.

Can be tamed using beast treats and healed with any cooked meat.

Once tamed and equipped with a saddle, Maugs can become very powerful mounts. Their ability allows them to leap forwards (press F to use this ability once mounted). They will take no falling damage. Upon landing from a leap, all nearby enemies will have their movement speed reduced.
