Darklings will leap at their victims and latch on where they will begin to rapidly drain blood, this will heal them, it is vital that they are killed fast.

These insects can be found in dark underground areas.

• Sometimes, anywhere if the server-light level is below 5.

• 1-2 Spider Eye (50%)
• 1 Fermented Spider Eye (25%)

Darklings currently have 2 Uncommon Variants:

• Azure

• Russet

This creature can be summoned as a temporary minion by using a Soulgazer to add it to your Beastiary and then using a Summoning Staff or using a Spriggan Heart or Summoning Pedestal to summon it.

• This monster capacity might be a reference to the brain slime from Primitive mobs. Although Lycanites did not confirm this.
• If combined with the “First Aid” mod, Darklings will always deal damages to the head, killing you fairly quickly.
